The historical village of Yungaburra is situated on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands west of Cairns surrounded by iconic tourist destinations such as the Crater Lakes and the Curtain Fig tree.
Lakeside Garden Centre was registered (BN4278094) 12.6.1991 near a small inlet of the massive Tinaroo Dam. Owners Linda & Michael where married on Lake Barrine six months earlier.
Now a company since 18.5.06 - Elliott N Q Pty Ltd - was named in honour of John Elliott Jones - late of Yungabuura. Father of Linda and Robyn - Sybil and John registered this site with council as a nursery in 1975. Plants were grown here for Limberlost. His grand-daughter Jess Jones is the Green's canditate for Kennedy.
We are a retail nursery that provides plants, pots, ornaments and bagged raw materials to customers that come from Townsville to Cooktown and west to Mt. Garnet.
Our plants are also available from Spar Malanda & Yungaburra Foodmarket.
Deliveries can be made to other areas such as Cairns, Atherton, Tolga etc.
