🌸 SUNPATIENS vs IMPATIENS — WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE? 🌸

We’re often asked, “What’s the difference, and which one is best?” 🤔

The answer? They’re both amazing! 🌿🌺 They both bring fabulous colour to pots, garden beds and outdoor spaces — but there is one BIG difference…

☀️ IMPATIENS
Impatiens prefer good filtered light and don’t tolerate full, direct sun. They’re perfect for shady spots, verandahs and as a beautiful understory planting beneath trees.

☀️🌸 SUNPATIENS
As the name suggests, SunPatiens have been bred to thrive in direct sunlight! They can also handle filtered light, making them incredibly versatile. They’re a fantastic choice for open garden spaces, pots and hanging baskets.

🌺 And if you’ve admired the incredible displays in the Yungaburra town hanging baskets… you’ve seen SunPatiens in action! 🌸

One interesting fact — SunPatiens are protected by a patent, so they can only be purchased through licensed growers. That’s why they’re a little different from your everyday impatiens.
